The Bells Bicycle Shop in Perth’s inner-west is a fitting tribute to a cycling icon, and is the perfect place to shop for a Bells bicycle bell.
Bells are a staple of many a cyclist’s daily commute, with more than 50% of Perth’s population living in households that own a bicycle.
But for many, the Bells is a symbol of a city’s success, with cycling becoming more popular and sustainable as a mode of transport.
The store’s owner, Darren Broughton, said the bell’s design reflects the ethos of the Perth community.
“It’s really just about creating a safe environment for all our customers to get around, and also about creating an opportunity for us to do what we do,” he said.
“I think it’s important that we have an atmosphere that’s conducive to everyone being safe, and I think that’s what I’m trying to achieve with this.”
The shop is open seven days a week from 10am-3pm, and you can check out the shop’s website for more information about the bell and other bicycle bells in the city.
